Community Benefits

The vision for Theobalds Green Farm is to create a sensitively designed, landscape-led residential scheme of up to 56 high quality homes, that positively contributes to the local area and forms a gentle transition between Heathfield’s village edge and the open countryside to the east and south. The development will deliver a number of community benefits as set out below.

We are delighted to bring forward land at Theobalds Green Farm, Heathfield, for residential development to Wealden District Council. This proposals set out in this document are supported by a series of technical reports on heritage, landscape and visual impact, highways and ecology.

The Site presents a unique opportunity to deliver a landscapeled scheme that would positively contribute to the local area and deliver much needed new homes for the District. A summary of benefits the scheme delivers is set out here, and further detailed throughout the document.

The proposed development will also provide significant CIL receipts to Wealden District Council which is used to contribute to the cost of infrastructure within the District. Heathfield Parish Council will receive 15% of the CIL collected from the development to support specific infrastructure projects within the Parish.
