The proposals include around 56 new homes (including affordable housing) ranging from one to four bedrooms, catering to children of residents who want to become first-time buyers, growing families and downsizes that want to stay in the area. Our homes are specifically designed to be in keeping with Heathfield’s existing character and to complement the local area.
In addition, new open spaces including green corridors and equipped play areas will provide places for all ages to rest, relax and play. The development’s green infrastructure will promote local ecology and biodiversity and provide a distinctive character to the development.
The site has been sensitively designed to respect the site’s location within the High Weald National Landscape and the setting of the Grade II Listed Theobalds Green Farmhouse located to the north of the site.
Vehicular access to the development is proposed from Theobalds Green. New connections to existing walking routes and Public Rights of Way are also proposed to improve accessibility into Heathfield and the surrounding area
